Join us on Saturday, December 11 for full day of FREE activities to celebrate Hometown Holiday: Elf Edition!
9 AM: ELF Movie Screening at The Village at SOPAC Cinemas
Bring the entire family out to enjoy this holiday classic. This hilarious Christmas film tells the tale of a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts on Christmas Eve and is transported back to the North Pole and raised as an elf. Years later Buddy learns he is not really an elf and goes on a journey to New York City to find his true identity.
10:30 AM- Selfies with Santa
We’re doing it a little different this year- bring your camera or use your smart phone to snap a selfie with Santa. If you need a family pic I’m sure one of Santa’s elves will gladly take the pic.
3-5 PM - Hometown Holiday: Elf Edition
Head over to Spiotta Park for a fun filled afternoon with elf entertainment, a community tree that is waiting to be decorated, crafts, hot chocolate and treats , a dance performance from Concepts Dance Academy and a special visit from Santa.
5 PM- ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING
The festivities conclude with our annual tree lighting ceremony in front of 76 South Orange Avenue. There will be a special performance from the Columbia High School Choir
