CARRIE JACKSON
Carrie Jackson is a vocal Stylist, in Jazz, Blues, Pop and Gospel, she rekindles thoughts of America’s great music history and credits her mentors for her style of improvisation and song to the great ladies of jazz, Sarah “Sassy” Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Carmen McRae, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, and others as a primary musical influence for her vocal style, which indelibly helped shape vocal jazz for every generation. Carrie’s genre of music is Classic Jazz Standards, Original Music, Blues & Gospel, including Songs from the Great American Song Book George & Ira Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Lerner & Loewe, Fats Waller, just to name a few.

Sarah Hodd + The Drive is an 8-piece powerhouse of a band, based in and around Maplewood and South Orange, NJ. We play explosive, fun covers and bluesy, soulful originals, all with an irresistible throwback vibe. This is neo-soul meets rock n roll! Our music spans the genres - across rock, soul, blues, funk, motown - and is driven by electric vocals, and a rocking band.

Fishmarket Stew is a SOMA-based band dedicated to performing the music of Phish. Featuring Eric de Picciotto (guitar), David Diamond (bass), Jamie Macleod (drums), and Dave Shields (keyboards), the group uses the Phish catalog as a springboard for their own exploratory improvisations. With a collective history of performances alongside members of Phish, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Allman Brothers Band, Steely Dan, and more, Fishmarket Stew brings its unique experience and passion to every show.

Flip Da Skrip Band erupted into Essex County, NJ August of 2009. We started as a four-piece band featuring drummer HFIC (Head Flippa In Charge), keyboardist Flippa MD, bass player Bass Flippa, & vocalist Lady Che’. With the addition of vocalist La’ Bella Flippa as well as vocalist/guitarist Nu’ Flippa, we’ve rounded out to the current version our fans best know us for.
Although deeply entrenched in R&B, Pop, & Dance hits, we can cover a multitude of styles to “Get Your Party Started!!!” When you come to a Flip Da Skrip show be prepared for xtra-curricular shenanigans coming from the band stand because we come to have fun with you too. Whiskey & Sugar is a dynamic NJ-based duo, trio, and full band that’s been rocking stages since September 2023. With over 50 shows across beer halls, festivals, and weddings, Matt Stone’s soulful vocals and guitar blend seamlessly with Jess Frank’s rich harmonies and crowd-energizing presence. Their setlist spans classic rock, Americana, 90s alt-rock, guilty-pleasure pop, and reimagined acoustic hits—designed to get audiences singing, dancing, and loving every moment.

Tycoon Dog is a 7-piece band known for its fun, family-friendly music blending rock, blues, reggae, funk, soul, pop, and country. Featuring Scott Bailey, Suzanne Fiore-Haywoode, Jenn Miller, Joe Piteo, Kip Sophos, Matt King, and Sean Harkness, the band has been performing for over 25 years, earning strong press and radio play. With hundreds of shows across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest, they've shared stages with renowned artists like Dark Star Orchestra, The Byrds, and members of Steely Dan. Now, they primarily perform 15-25 outdoor concerts annually in the NJ/NYC area.

Eric & Alina are an acoustic cover duo based in central NJ. Made up of Alina Bardaji on lead vocals and Eric Drylewicz on lead guitar, these two can provide everything from soulful R&B melodies to upbeat pop hits and classic rock. Formed in 2023, Eric and Alina have played at several venues across NJ and have refined their sound since then. Now two years later, they are excited to share their take on chart-topping hits with the folks of South Orange.

Channeling the performative schools of Louis Prima, Little Richard, and Cab Calloway, Danny Lipsitz leads The Brass Tacks in a dynamic ride of hit mid 20th century music in spectacular style. A high-energy ensemble of world-class talent, The Brass Tacks expertly navigate swing, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, klezmer, jump blues, and traditional pop with Danny showcasing up to five instruments in a set. The captivating, feel-good music for people from all walks of life has earned the band a dedicated following. The band has enchanted audiences around the world at jazz clubs, performing arts centers, swing dance events, and festivals in both large configurations and as small as 4 pieces. A 14-piece version of the group headlined at Lincoln Center’s Summer For The City for an acclaimed night of ballroom dancing. A former beloved public school music teacher for 11 years, Danny developed a highly successful, standards-aligned curriculum about the saxophone in rock ‘n’ roll music, which The Brass Tacks have presented at countless schools in New York City.
