South Orange Downtown will host it’s annual Small Business Saturday Street Fair to celebrate the downtown businesses, local craftspeople, artisans and vendors on Village Plaza. This year it will be a whole weekend of fun, November 30 and December 1, 2024, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Village Plaza (20-32 Village Plaza, South Orange, NJ).
This two-day event celebrates local businesses, artisans, and vendors, featuring unique jewelry, apparel, art, and gifts from returning holiday market favorites and exciting new participants. Shop for finely crafted jewelry, apparel, accessories, art, food and gift items made by many of our area’s finest local creators.
For the first time ever, experience outdoor ice skating in the heart of South Orange at Spiotta Park, located next to Village Plaza. Skating will be available throughout the duration of the street fair, with sessions priced at $10 each and skate rentals offered for an additional cost. Each session lasts 30 minutes, and sign-ups will be available on-site only—no advance registration required. While you’re there, enjoy a visit from Frosty the Snowman, offering a fun opportunity for photos and memorable moments with family and friends.

Adding to the excitement, the Elf Chase Experience invites attendees to hunt for hidden elves at participating businesses. Each find earns an “Elf Ticket” to enter a prize drawing, with the winner announced at the South Orange Downtown Holiday Market on December 21st. Plus, don’t miss the Downtown-wide raffle search for even more holiday fun!
