Join us at the 2nd Annual SO Greenway Bike/Walk/Scoot Parade. Meadowbrook Lane at Floods Hill will be closed for fun in the street! The parade is open to kids and adults of all ages on foot, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, etc. A bike decorating station will kick things off before we parade around Meadowland Park. Learn about the next phase of the Greenway, along with police registering bicycles, free bike bells and reflective wristbands, bike tune-ups, and more. Also, if you ride with kids in a cargo bike, trailer, child bike seat etc, come show off your bike setup! Hosted by Walk Bike Ride South Orange (your new local pedestrian/cycling/transit advocacy group), along with the SO Green Team & Environmental Commission, SOPD and the SO Recreation Department.
