SOMA Neighbors Connect
The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race invites the local community for an engaging evening, as the Residential Committee presents “SOMA Neighbors Connect” on Thursday, March 7 at the SOPAC Loft from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Residents from all corners of South Orange and Maplewood (SOMA) are welcome to come together with community leaders for enriching discussions on hyperlocal topics covering the home, health and SOMA community.
Initiated in 2023, "SOMA Neighbors Connect" returns this year on a larger scale, promising an evening filled with meaningful community dialogue and connection. This year’s esteemed panelists include South Orange Village President Sheena Collum and Maplewood Mayor Nancy Adams and additional town officers; SOMA Two Towns for all Ages, Neighborhood Block Associations, and local entrepreneurs and business owners.
Attendees will have the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and neighbors, foster new friendships, and participate in insightful conversations on health resources, home maintenance, environmental issues, and community engagement.
The event is free to attend. There will also be raffles and giveaways as well as light refreshments available.
RSVP is required.
