Dr. Tendai Ndoro is Regional Director for the NJSBDC at Rutgers-Newark/Rutgers Business School & NJSBDC statewide network. She is also CEO to 3 global businesses and has over 30 years of strategic management, public administration; community & economic development experience with expertise in Strategic Planning & Management, Performance Management/Measurements & Process Improvement, Organization Development; Program Design; Development; Implementation; Monitoring & Evaluation; Public & Private Sector Development; Training and Research.

Dr. Ndoro has a PHD in Public Administration from the School of Public Affairs & Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University and is also a certified Malcolm Baldrige Examiner with NIST (National Institute of Science & Technology). She is also a P/T Professor with the School of Public Affairs & Administration, Rutgers University-Newark.

Senior Small Business Liaison

New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA)

Michelle Osorio is a Senior Small Business Liaison for the New Jersey Economic Development Authority. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority is the state’s principal agency for driving economic growth. The NJEDA is committed to providing equitable access to opportunities, job creation and building and stronger and fairer economy for all of New Jersey. Michelle’s role within the EDA is to build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with the different stake holders in NJ that support small businesses as well as promote and educate others on the different products and services the EDA has to offer with a focus on small, minority, women, and veteran owned businesses. She has spent her career supporting entrepreneurs and business owners in underserved communities.  Michelle is fluent in Spanish and has helped hundreds of business owners navigate the complexities of business ownership in both languages. 

DAVID SORKIN

New Frontier

David is the Owner and President of New Frontier, a Millburn-based agency that is building free websites for local business owners through the NJEDA Small Business E-Commerce Support Program.  With over 25 years’ experience in advertising and brand management on both the client and agency sides. David has launched and managed multiple category-leading consumer brands, and has spent the last two decades creating and implementing strategic marketing programs ranging from national TV/Print/Radio campaigns to groundbreaking digital and social platforms. His marketing work has been nationally recognized, including an accolade from BusinessWeek for one of the year’s most successful consumer product launches, and a “Marketer of the Year” award from an industry-leading Fortune 500 corporation.

David holds an undergraduate degree from Emory University, an MBA in Marketing from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a professional certification in Digital Media Marketing from New York University (NYU).
