Is there an age limit to attend Beer Fest?
Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to be allowed entrance into the festival. Designated drivers must also be at least 21. You must show photo ID to be admitted (no exceptions). Sorry, but NO children, toddlers, infants or strollers are permitted.

Where can I buy tickets for this event?
We recommend that you purchase your ticket here. Once you complete the online transaction, you will be emailed a QR code. This will serve as your ticket. Please have this ready either printed or on your phone for scanning at the event entry. There is an online pre-sale. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event for full price.
Am I allowed to leave and re-enter the festival?
No. Sorry but all exits are final, no one will be re-admitted for any reason.
Will food be available for purchase?
Yes, several local businesses will be on site serving food. Full list will be announced soon.
Is there music?
Yes. DJ Lou Smith will be spinning for the duration of the event.
How much does a ticket cost and what does it include?
General Admission ticket: includes admission plus a tasting glass ONLINE PRESALE: $45 (Day of Price: $50)
Designated Driver ticket: includes admission ONLINE PRESALE: $15 (Day of Price: $20)
Designated Drivers, like everyone else must be 21+ and show valid photo ID for admission and will not be permitted to drink alcohol
VIP ticket: includes a tented space for you and your group ONLINE PRESALE: $45 (Day of Price: $50)
How does the Designated Driver ticket work?
The designated driver buys a special designated driver ticket ($15 online presale), $20 The designated driver receives a different colored wristband and they do not receive a tasting glass. They are able to enjoy all the activities, but are not allowed to drink any beer. Any designated driver who is seen drinking will be escorted out immediately.
HOW DOES THE EVENT WORK?
Attendees with a General Admission ticket can use their tasting glass to sample brews from any of the beer vendors. Note: we will not replace lost tasting glasses.
IS THE FESTIVAL ENCLOSED?
Yes, the entire parking lot will be fenced off and there will be one entry and one exit point by the Sloan Street circle.
WHO IS PLANNING THE FESTIVAL?
The Under Cover Music Fest is produced by the South Orange Downtown, the Village of South Orange. Thank you to all of the Village departments and agencies for helping make the festival a success.
CAN I BE A VENDOR?
No. Beer Fest is not a typical street fair, we are not accepting vendor applications. If you feel that you have a brand which matches our theme , please send us a note at lisa@southorangedowntown.org.
CAN I VOLUNTEER?

IS THERE A RAIN DATE?
Yes, Sun Sept 15th from 2PM-6PM. Announcement will be made at least 48 hours before the date.
WHERE CAN WE PARK?
All Village lots except the Sloan Street Parking Lot where the event will held are open and parking will be free thanks to the South Orange Parking Authority. Please check out the map below for the available parking options.
